Is this the same as the official Chess.com leaderboard?
Yes — the ratings and ranks come directly from Chess.com's public leaderboard API. We add short, fact-checked bios for well-known players so you know who you're looking at, since usernames alone don't tell you much.
Why do only some players have a 'Read full profile' link?
We only publish a full profile page once we've manually verified the account belongs to who it claims to and written an accurate bio. Anyone can enter the Top 10 in a given time control, so we'd rather show honest live stats than guess at someone's biography.
